Your Key Responsibilities as a Senior Strategic Weapon Systems GN&C Engineer:
  • Lead GN&C efforts for cutting-edge Strategic Weapon Systems.
  • Design advanced GN&C methodologies for strategic missile flight systems.
  • Collaborate with peers to enhance weapon system performance and influence future system designs.
  • Utilize state estimation techniques for onboard applications and post-flight analysis.
  • Analyze system performance using data from various sensors.
  • Conduct trade studies and simulations to guide system design decisions.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers in the field.
  • Present research findings to key stakeholders and management.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience with Missile GN&C Systems.
  • Strong background in Optimal Estimation, Dynamical Systems, and Inertial Navigation.
  • Proficiency in Matlab and technical writing.
  • Ability to obtain security clearances.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in relevant engineering fields with a focus on GN&C.
  • 10+ years of experience in Nuclear Ballistic Missile GN&C Systems.
  • Leadership experience in guiding GN&C engineering teams.
  • Hold a Top Secret (or above) clearance.
