Responsibilities

  • Needs Assessment: Discover improvement opportunities in industrial laundry plants covering equipment, technologies, processes, and services.
  • Research and Analysis: Investigate emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in industrial laundry processes and equipment.
  • Collaboration: Engage with diverse teams to align R&D efforts with business goals and customer requirements.
  • Develop/Install/Implement Solutions: Lead the design, development, and testing of new laundry equipment and applications.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for enhancing existing operations and workflows to boost efficiency and quality.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to evaluate new equipment and technologies.
  • ROI Analysis: Collaborate with Industrial Engineers and Project Managers to assess the return on investment of new deployments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations in all R&D activities.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation to convey R&D findings and project specifications effectively.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in industrial laundry technology and related fields.
  • Project Management: Effectively manage projects from planning to post-deployment follow-up.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years in research and development, preferably in the industrial laundry or related industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in engineering design, material handling systems, and product development.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with AI, AR, and VR technologies is advantageous.
  • Problem-solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects within budget and timelines.
  • Quality Focus: Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time on average.


Education

  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or related field.
