The Sales Manager will lead a team of inside and outside sales representatives to aggressively prospect and drive new sales within the local area.

This position will provide strategic leadership for the group, and will ensure effective coordination of team efforts. The Sales Manager will have responsibility for the location meeting its revenue and expense plan. This role responds to customer inquiries by telephone, e-mail and/or walk-ins to provide inquiry or problem resolution.

The person will resolve mostly routine and some non-routine, more complex problems and communicate the solutions or requested information to the customer.

This positions will analyze a customer's service needs and refer to other service or technical departments for follow up as needed.

As a key member of our warehouse operations team, this position is based in the warehouse and is a critical role to the success of our business.

This role will be highly visible and expected to be an expert in order prioritization and routing.

This person interacts with existing customers, primarily by phone and email, to increase sales of the company's products and/or services by obtaining and up-selling orders, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience.

Collaborates with outside sales to ensure goals are being met. Likely owns a book of accounts.

However, there is little, if any, involvement in usual HR matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, performance management, determining pay increases, etc.

Acts as mentor to develop junior staff. Expert level knowledge of functional area under supervision.
