  • Provide services to individuals in their homes and communities who need assistance due to old age, sickness, disability, and/or other conditions.
  • Tasks may include house cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, and respite.
Responsibilities and Activities:
  • Teach and perform meal planning, housekeeping activities, and laundry.
  • Assist with essential shopping and errands.
  • Help clients with special diet plans and reinforcement of diet maintenance.
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and assist with communication.
  • Participate in the Care Team, monitor supplies, and evaluate the program.
  • Follow the written care plan, carry out assigned duties, and report client's functioning to the Supervisor.
  • Attend trainings and meetings, maintain records, and develop constructive relationships.
  • Make decisions, solve problems, and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Understand homemanagement skills and client service processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of English language and first aid techniques.
  • Have skills in establishing relationships, teaching others, problem-solving, and communication.
  • Physical and mental abilities to perform the job tasks and handle stress.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Hold a current driver's license and possess proper vehicle insurance coverage.
  • Related experience may be required.
