Senior Project Manager - Water Group

opportunity. The position is based in

Plano, TX .


Successful candidates will be responsible for providing technical, management, and staff support for a variety of infrastructure-related projects, primarily involving the planning and design of water/wastewater/stormwater pipelines, treatment facilities, pump stations, and storage facilities.

Candidates should be skilled in managing multiple priorities, organizing time and projects, tracking budgets and meeting deadlines.

Your Role

  • Lead and manage the execution of projects from conceptual planning phases through final design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Maintain existing client relationships and help develop new client and project opportunities.
  • Ensure technical accuracy, standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.
  • Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other disciplines.
  • Provide construction support services. Perform engineering interpretation of specifications and drawings, recommending and documenting design modifications, and coordinating with the design team.
  • Make independent assessment of engineering problems and recommend solutions to engineering discipline leads, resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.
  • Achieve financial targets in relation to project profitability and utilization.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil or Environmental Engineering in Texas, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in technical project execution and in writing and pricing scopes of work for proposals.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
