A Day in the Life as a Facilities Coordinator:
  • Ensuring building and equipment availability and functionality
  • Managing supply and equipment inventory
  • Implementing safety and security standards
  • Acting as a liaison between employees and external contractors
  • Performing preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Addressing work order requests promptly
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work areas
  • Approving weekly supply orders
  • Developing disaster and evacuation plans
  • Supervising construction and renovation projects
  • Executing administrative tasks assigned by the facilities manager
  • Coordinating equipment maintenance and system inspections
  • Identifying repair needs in rooms and furniture
  • Creating and overseeing cleaning schedules
  • Monitoring external activities related to waste disposal and recycling
  • Fixing minor office equipment issues
  • Managing office and parking space allocation
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Facilities Coordination or similar role
  • Proficiency in facilities management operations
  • Familiarity with office equipment and security systems
  • Experience with facilities management software is a plus
  • Knowledge of office safety regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and quick decision-making abilities in emergencies
Education and Certificates:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
