What we are looking for:

The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be responsible for successful leadership of the Financial Planning & Analysis function. The FP&A Head will be an active mentor to the existing team and build upon the current foundation. S/he will be a high-energy finance leader with a passion for providing senior management with strategic and business insights and recommendations, to facilitate financial decisions. S/he will develop enhanced metrics and KPIs to create holistic dashboard views which can be shared with management and the Board. S/he will be eager to work with, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders with clear, concise, and articulate narratives around financial metrics. The person will develop and cultivate productive business partnering relationships with key stakeholders and Global leadership teams. Reporting to the Global Head of Strategic Finance, this role will be a driving force behind business planning and help to foster a culture of transparency and accountability for driving profitable growth.

Salary range

185, ,200 USD. This role is eligible for other compensation incentives, such as bonuses, benefits, and other perks.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop global Financial Budget partnering with business and functional Heads.
  • Produce and explain Revenue and Expense forecast (rolling and point in time) reporting, and peer analysis.
  • Developing and tracking performance metrics, creating C-level presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
  • Driving forward looking processes including annual budget plan, monthly outlooks, and multi-year strategic plans.
  • Build and manage a sophisticated FP&A infrastructure to translate company specific, as well as external industry data, into the key strategic inputs and insights that will drive forward-thinking business decisions in support of Fiera's growth plans.
  • Continually evaluate systems and support structures for their capability to facilitate transparency and "best in class" business and financial planning processes. Continue to evolve and strengthen processes and substance around FP&A and management reporting, integrating new ideas and strategies that produce valuable and reliable financial information.
  • Build strong relationships across the Public Markets, Private Wealth, Private Markets and Global leadership teams, engaging with business leaders to ensure the level and quality of information needed to report on firm/business/geography performance is received. Be able to provoke the debate and influence the outcome; not simply act as a provider of analytics.
  • Support management team with data-driven analysis. Manage and participate in the analysis and interpretation of operating results, prepare executive reports, and analyze financial effects of various contemplated actions.
  • Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as AUM, revenues, expenditures, and profit margin. Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances.
  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast.
  • Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports.
  • Develop and analyze financial models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Keep the stakeholder community aware of performance and progress, in a timely and reliable manner, assisting them in gaining a solid understanding of Fiera.
  • Assess and benchmark talent and develop plan to continue to recruit and develop a highly respected team regarded as experts at financial modelling and analysis.
Must have requirements to be successful in this role:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business along with an MBA/ CFA / MSc Finance. CPA would be considered an asset.
  • 15+ years of experience in progressively more senior finance leadership roles in fast-paced, complex and, ideally, Global organizations, Asset or Investment management firms, Consulting firms or Investment banks known for producing strong finance and accounting executives.
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience leading FP&A efforts to enhance support capabilities (forecast, modeling, analytics, etc.).
  • Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools.
  • Experience developing and presenting a deeper understanding of trends within the marketplace to track performance against competitors.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders from various backgrounds and influence them consistently without authority.
  • Strategic and capable of delivering new insights to senior management.
