Grace House is a residential treatment program for mothers in early recovery located in Northampton. The program can house up to fourteen families in a collective living environment, where they share space and resources in an effort to build recovery community and encourage peaceful living. As a therapeutic setting, we strive to provide each family with a safe, nurturing environment where mothers and their children can experience success.

Responsibilities-

  • Assists with running groups, childcare and activities for children
  • Assists groups for parents including parenting groups using various modalities including the Nurturing Program
  • Supports parents to learn appropriate parenting
  • Works with parent/child(ren) to facilitate healthy growth and development
  • Provides case management services to parents around services for their children including but not limited to Schools, DCF, Horizons, Dental and Medical Needs, DTA, WIC, Early Intervention etc.
  • Assists with planning and coordinating outings for children and families
  • Manages behavior through use of programmatic structure, rules, routines, contracts, and treatment plans for the children and parents
  • Transports residents in matters related to service delivery in agency van or personal vehicle as needed
  • Participates in on call rotation as needed
Requirements-
  • High school or better required. Knowledge in the recovery field preferred.
  • Written and verbal communication skills are critical as is the ability to work with computers.
  • All positions require a background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check
Full-time,$20/hr, M-F
