Job Description:


- The role of Fiscal Director for Title I, Title II, and Title IVA grants in the Academic Achievement Section is crucial for the implementation of Arizona's Every Student Succeed Act (ESSA) and other state and local initiatives.

  • Occasional in-state and rare out-of-state travel may be required for this position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate preliminary and final allocations for grants related to the ESEA Consolidated Application within specified deadlines.
  • Communicate and provide resources on calculation methodologies for program accuracy and clear communication with LEAs.
  • Maintain accurate tracking procedures for grant applications, approvals, and revisions.
  • Offer data and monitoring reports to support grant processing and compliance.
  • Prepare technical reports and assist in budget compliance for Title grants.
  • Provide oversight on budgeting compliance and ensure timely federal reporting.
  • Act as the main contact for audits, federal reporting, and data requests.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledge of ESSA, state and federal budgeting procedures, and financial regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders, budgeting skills, and data analysis.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Adaptable to changing regulations and laws.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience in education agencies, especially with Title I.

  • Completion of background checks, required documents, and any medical evaluations.
