Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students? We are seeking a Full-Time SLPA to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, CA, working with students in grades K-12.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement therapeutic activities and interventions designed to improve communication skills in students.
  • Conduct individual and group sessions as prescribed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Assist in the assessment of students' communication abilities and provide valuable input to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
  • Valid California SLPA license.
  • Experience working in an educational setting is preferred, not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
