Job Summary The College of Social Work (CoSW) at University of Kentucky (UK) is currently seeking a STEPS Administrative Support Associate to provide excellent service and support to CoSW staff, faculty, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for both general and human resource administrative duties. The position job responsibilities break down as follows:

General Admin Duties: assist faculty and staff with office and clerical needs oversee/manage office supply inventory assist with general data entry (project based) generate and distribute reports as requested serve as first point of contact in the reception area for suite guests, deliveries, etc. respond to/redirect general inquiries (in person, via phone, or email) assist with research as requested coordinate/assemble materials for meetings, projects, reports, etc. Human Resource Admin Duties: update employee personnel files provide direct clerical and admin support to CoSW HR team process documents and prepare reports related to personnel activities assist CoSW HR team with position tracking perform periodic audits of HR records and ensure all documentation has been collected/filed appropriately assist CoSW HR team with other departmental needs as requested Required Skillset: excellent customer service experience via phone, email, and in person the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy is a MUST fine attention to detail ability to pick up new database and computer software fairly quickly This position is slated to be in person at our Coldstream Campus Location in Lexington, KY Skills / Knowledge / Abilities see job summary Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
