We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk to join our team.As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely availability of materials and supplies.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect incoming materials and supplies
Verify and record received items in the inventory system
Label and store items in a designated storage area
Retrieve and distribute materials and supplies to appropriate departments
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation
Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies
Assist in the implementation of inventory control and management processes
Prepare and maintain documentation related to stockroom activities
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized stockroom
Assist in the organization and optimization of stockroom layout
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in stockroom or inventory control
Basic understanding of inventory control principles and procedures
Proficiency in using inventory management software and systems
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures
Experience with cycle counting and reconciliation
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
