Examples of Responsibilities for Cafe Cook:
- Set up stations following restaurant guidelines
- Prepare all food items in a hygienic and efficient manner
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards as directed by the Chef
- Restock items as needed during shift; keep work station clean and sanitized
- Assist in kitchen cleaning, sanitization, and organization of storage areas
Employment Requirements for Cafe Cook:
Ability to use arms, hands, and fingers repetitively; Effective communication with team members; Positive attitude while collaborating with colleagues; Basic knowledge of professional cooking and knife skills; Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols. Previous experience as a line cook is preferred.
