Role Summary:

The Senior Virtual Member Service Associate (VMSA) is an experienced team member responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members through various transactions and relationship building using Gesa's Interactive Teller Machines. The Sr. VMSA also serves as a mentor, utilizing their expertise in Gesa's offerings to train new VMSAs, deepen member relationships, and ensure smooth ITM operations.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Deliver exceptional member service.
  • Resolve issues, take charge of member concerns, provide timely solutions, and follow up.
  • Demonstrate financial literacy and engage in discussions with members.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of all credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote relevant products, enhance member connections, and refer to team members when needed.
  • Meet or exceed service levels, performance metrics, and organizational objectives.
  • Adapt positively to changing priorities with flexibility.
  • Maintain ITMs efficiently.
  • Guide, train, and support new VMSAs.
  • Assist in branch certifications and reports management.
  • Conduct accurate and timely member transactions.
  • Adhere to Interactive Teller procedures and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Handle monetary instruments and reports following regulations.
  • Perform other assigned duties and projects.

  • Use questioning techniques to understand member needs and foster relationships.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:
  • Education: High School Degree (or equivalent) required
  • Experience:
    • Previous cash handling experience is necessary.
    • Preferably at least one year of customer service experience.
    • Preferably at least one year of teller experience.
  • Uphold credit union values and service standards.
  • Participate in community events representing the credit union.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Demonstrate integrity and punctuality.
  • May require some travel.
  • Proficient in various technologies.
