Behavior Analyst at ABS Kids

We (Torre) are collaborating with ABS Kids to identify a remarkable individual to join their team on a full-time basis as a Behavior Analyst.
Compensation:
$85,000 per annum.

To assist children with autism spectrum disorders and their families in achieving their utmost potential through careful diagnosis and personalized ABA therapy.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Over 2 years of working experience in child care.
- Competent in problem-solving.
- Fluent in English.
Role Overview:
The Behavior Analyst will be tasked with developing and supervising the execution of ABA treatment plans tailored for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train Behavior Technicians, families, caregivers, and others on ABA treatment plans and how to execute them effectively.
- Communicate changes in programs to caregivers and the ABA team.
- Compose semi-annual authorization reports.
- Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy for clients on your caseload when recommended in treatment plans.
- Act as a bridge between Behavior Technicians, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
- Provide supervision for patients on your caseload, either in-person or via telehealth as clinically advised.
- Monitor weekly advancements and provide updates on patient programs during supervisory and team meetings.
- Continuously update and manage programs.
- Timely creation of reports, progress reports, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and conduct assessments with the assistance of the Assistant Director.
- Effectively manage assigned hours to ensure the completion of all tasks, including supervision time and direct work with each patient.
- Accountable for the timely completion of tasks, such as attending patient IEP/Placement meetings, adhering to company regulations regarding fidelity, updating administrative documentation as directed by management, and ensuring compliance with federal HIPAA regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Effective communication in both spoken and written forms, ensuring concepts are clearly understood by others.
- Ability to observe, document, and log patient behavior in an objective manner.
- Comprehension of both spoken and written information.
- Ability to identify and take appropriate actions when issues arise for patient safety.
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain constructive working relationships.
- Provide assistance, including physical support, when patients need help to ensure safety.
- Tolerance for challenging behaviors exhibited by patients, including aggressive or self-injurious conduct.
- Capacity to record, store, and manage information electronically through devices.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and quality care.
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
- Current BCBA certification through the BACB or preparing to sit for the BACB examination.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Work may take place in diverse environments such as homes, ABA Therapy Centers, communities, or outdoor settings as outlined in treatment plans.
- Ability to lift and transport patients as necessary.
- Capacity to sustain various physical positions (kneeling, squatting, sitting, and standing) for extended durations.
- Willingness and ability to manage quick physical movements as required in the Behavior Intervention Plan.
- Manual dexterity to efficiently utilize technology for data management tasks.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback and enhance personal skills accordingly.
- Visual acuity to interpret written information via various formats.
- Reliable means of transportation to travel between job locations.
