How you will make contributions that matter...
Design, recommend, and implement health benefit programs for medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, EAP, and wellness plans
Oversee the annual enrollment process.

Responsibilities include analysis of cost data prior to renewal in conjunction with actuaries, recommendation and implementation of changes, collaboration with team on communications to HR teams and employees.

Prepare qualitative and quantitative benefit plan cost analysis to monitor current performance and support the development of cost-effective benefit programs.

Provide recommendations for enhancements/changes to existing programs that are consistent with benefit objectives and

strategies.
Identify and deploy targeted wellness programs that create value among employees, influence overall health, and drive reduced long-term healthcare costs
Drive key compliance initiatives with regard to Federal, State and local regulations for benefit programs

Establish effective audit practices for benefit programs and ensure compliance with non-discrimination testing, comparative analysis, required notices, disclosures and filings.

Oversee compliance-related submissions (e.g. Form 1094/1095).
Drafting and review of technical benefit documents (e.g. SPDs, SMMs, SBCs), working with legal counsel as required on amendments to plan documents.
Facilitate compliance awareness and training efforts, including conducting HR training as required (e.g. HIPAA training).
Identify opportunities to improve processes, including analyzing audit reports and ensuring integrity of the HRIS and other systems.
Serves as the department's internal resource for all regulatory and compliance-related matters.

8+ years of experience in benefit plan management
Bachelor's Degree required
Possess a strong knowledge of state and federal benefit regulations
Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at building relationships with internal teams and external partners
