The Managing Director plays a crucial role in developing and implementing energy investment strategies to enhance returns while managing risks effectively.

The role involves ensuring alignment with corporate strategies, internal policies, and relevant regulations, while also harmonizing investment approaches with broader organizational goals to optimize bank profits and mitigate risks.


Responsibilities:

  • Directly managing the day-to-day operations of the Energy portfolio.
  • Oversight of an eight-member portfolio team.
  • Reviewing and approving all quarterly and annual reviews, some of which may require Chief Credit Officer endorsement.
  • Approval of all amendments, consents, and waivers within the bank's authority.
  • Offering guidance and support for actions beyond approval authority.
  • Leading quarterly review and special mention/watch list meetings.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for all audits and regulatory examinations.

The salary range for this position is approximately $225,000 to $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The role also includes potential variable compensation such as incentives, bonuses, or commission.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project finance.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Administrative Agent.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong work ethic with exceptional leadership and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting ideas persuasively and cohesively.
