Concordia Visiting Nurses is currently seeking a Part-time Spiritual Care Coordinator to join our team in Armstrong County.



Spiritual Care Coordinator Position Qualifications:
  • Graduate of accredited seminary, school of theology, or counseling program, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in an interfaith environment with diverse beliefs and values.
  • Familiarity with Homecare philosophy of care.
  • Demonstrated strong planning, observation, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in supporting patients and families facing illness.
  • Valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Spiritual Care Coordinator:
  • Assess and address spiritual needs of patients, families, and caregivers promptly and compassionately.
  • Provide spiritual care upon request and assist with referrals to churches.
  • Support patients and families in overcoming spiritual challenges that may impact their medical care.
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Establish and maintain connections with community agencies to enhance cooperation.
  • Offer consultation, education, and support on spiritual care to the homecare team.
