We are seeking a talented and seasoned Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Queenie's Steakhouse The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Our hours of operations are Sunday - Monday Closed, Tuesday - Thursday 5 PM - 10 PM, Friday - Saturday 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM & 5 PM - 10 PM.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
- Supervise food preparation and cooking activities.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques.
- Oversee banquet preparations and food service for events.
- Support team management efforts to maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of food management, menu planning, and culinary techniques.
- Familiarity with supervising kitchen operations and ensuring quality standards.
- Ability to assist in inventory, budgeting, food portion control, training, etc.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must obtain Texas Food Managers Permit.
