Brooklyn, New York, United States 92nd Street Y Full time

Introduction
Share Our America is a national initiative, rooted in local communities, that rebuilds our collective trust in one another.

Headquartered in New York City, Share Our America is run by 92NY's Belfer Center for Social Innovation & Impact which founded GivingTuesday, Ben Franklin Circles and other initiatives that enable community leaders to activate lasting impact for their neighborhoods, towns and cities.

Led by local leaders across our country, Share Our America gatherings bring divided and disconnected communities back together.

We build the foundation necessary for neighbors to listen without judgment, trust across their differences, and work together to reduce polarization and solve the challenges facing their communities.

After Share Our America gatherings, participants not only report increased understanding (98%) and respect (85%) for people different from them, but they actively make plans to improve their communities (95%) alongside the community leaders and institutions who brought them together (schools, faith-based communities, police departments).

These videos from Nebraska, Pennsylvania, and Tennesseedive deeper into the impact of Share Our America.
