Position Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and outcome-driven individual to become part of the team as a Senior Software Engineer for the Managed Accounts department. In this capacity, the incumbent will join an Agile unit, closely cooperating with stakeholders and the team leader to ensure the punctual delivery of projects. The key responsibilities will involve complete ownership of components, emphasizing quality maintenance, stability, and the advancement of technical features. Additionally, the role offers the chance to acquaint oneself with emerging technologies as the team focuses on innovation and refining operations.

This role is a hybrid position (three days in-office) stationed in Chicago or Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in a Scrum development team collaborating with multifunctional units (Product, Operations, Marketing) to ensure the timely rollout of new functionalities.
  • Create, execute, and uphold scalable, reliable, secure, and top-notch software solutions.
  • Continuously acquire and acclimatize to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Engage in the on-call rotation for production assistance every other month.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in developing and supporting intricate corporate applications.
  • Proficiency in any of the following programming languages and their ecosystem: C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • A robust comprehension of core software principles, including Design Patterns, HTTP(S), RESTful API, SSO, security, unit testing, contemporary browser functionalities, and SQL scripts.
Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on involvement with cloud-native applications and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring streamlined and automated software delivery processes.
  • Possessing generative AI experience is highly advantageous.
