The main goal is to facilitate various transaction types from start to finish, including necessary escalations when required.

Handling Fraud Wire Recall Review Analyst is responsible for managing fraud investigations and regulatory reporting, requiring a solid understanding of fraud and reputational risks. The role involves working with internal and external business units across all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other business units to effectively detect fraud
  • Monitor existing accounts with fraudulent wire activity
  • Escalate suspicious cases to the investigation unit with all relevant information to prevent client losses
  • Ensure accurate reporting by providing details on all cases
  • Review fraud detection information from various sources and take necessary actions
  • Create narratives and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in compliance with regulations
  • Manage cases, provide detailed evidence and supporting documentation
  • Adhere to processes, procedures, and regulatory compliance while maintaining high productivity and accuracy
  • Other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 - 5 years experience in reviewing customer transactions for suspicious activity and fraud investigations
  • Experience in preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) is preferred
  • Financial institution background with specific experience in Fraud Monitoring is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in research and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to draw conclusions from research and work independently
