The Roberts Conference Centre - Sales and Catering Manager Position

The Roberts Conference Centre, located in Wilmington Ohio, is in search of a skilled Sales and Catering Manager to join the Sales team. This position is crucial for driving group/event business, maximizing profits, and revenue for the entire Roberts complex. Prior experience in Hotel Sales is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve established revenue goals.
  • Complete monthly sales reports and pace reports accurately.
  • Develop and execute quarterly action plans.
  • Implement targeted sales strategies for different market segments through direct sales, client entertainment, site tours, group ticket sales, etc.
  • Ensure all event agreements are compliant with standard procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Delphi system.
  • Adhere to budgetary guidelines for F&B menus and pricing.
  • Focus on sales goals to drive annual revenues.
  • Provide excellent customer service during events.
  • Assist with event billing and invoicing.
  • Offer input for marketing ideas and back up assistant managers as needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
