This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) from 8am - 4:30pm. The Engineer will contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of various engineering projects. They will work closely with Senior Engineers, assisting in creating engineering designs, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgets.

Additional responsibilities include technical documentation, research, project coordination, modeling, developing estimates, tracking project costs, and maintaining ongoing professional development. The Engineer will participate in project planning, execution, and visit job sites.

Duties may include the following:
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers in design, analysis, and evaluation of engineering systems.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
  • Review and prepare project budgets and schedules.
  • Produce engineering design plans and specifications.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during projects.
  • Research across disciplines, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate and manage construction project aspects.
  • Coordinate with GIS and Survey departments for data acquisition.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Interact with regulatory agencies and maintain knowledge of regulations.
  • Perform on-call assistance during emergencies.
  • Maintain a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • PE (Professional Engineer) license.
  • BS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university OR a BS in Chemistry or Physics.
  • Ability to analyze data and solve engineering problems independently.
  • Valid driver's license.
