Job Description:


As an Assembler, you will work under limited supervision to carry out electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical production sub-assembly and assembly tasks to build up units of moderate complexity.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Key responsibilities include:

  • Following production/assembly instructions, parts lists, diagrams, and verbal instructions to assemble a variety of components.
  • Choosing components for integration into subassembly and assembly units.
  • Using small hand tools like soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, and screwdrivers.


QUALIFICATIONS


To succeed in this role, you must be able to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The requirements are:


- High school diploma or equivalent.

- One to three years of relevant experience or training.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS


The physical requirements include:

  • Using hands to handle objects.
  • Standing, sitting, and reaching with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally walking, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
  • Lifting and moving up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Visual abilities like close vision and color vision.


WORK ENVIRONMENT


Work conditions involve:

  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Moderate noise levels.
