If you are a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for nursing, our Home Health division is the perfect place for you. We provide specialized care for medically fragile children and complex adults, offering support round-the-clock. Our dedicated team is trained to handle various medical procedures including tracheostomy care, ventilator support, administering medications, and more. We collaborate closely with families and healthcare providers to customize care plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual.
Join our team as a Per Diem LPN and work in either Newark, Wilmington, or Kent/Sussex Delaware within our Private Duty Nursing department. This position comes with:
- Flexible Scheduling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight care to ensure patient safety and comfort while families rest.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Coordinate care among family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Establish positive relationships through compassionate and courteous service.
- Availability for overnight shifts and weekends.
Requirements:
- Active LPN license in Delaware and preferably one year of healthcare experience.
- Completion of an Associate's degree or accredited LPN program.
- Prior work experience in acute or chronic care facilities or home health agencies is desirable.
- Background in Home Healthcare and Long Term Care is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo a two-week daytime orientation at our Camden office and patient-specific field training during night shifts. Occasional weekend availability is required, with some flexibility in the orientation schedule.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is advantageous.
