You Will
  • Collaborate within and occasionally across teams to address complex challenges
  • Engage with product, UX, architects, and engineering management to steer the team's technical and product strategies

  • Understand the business use cases within your service area and become a subject matter expert by combining it with technical insights into the system

You Have
  • 7+ years of Software Development experience in a SaaS setting
  • Previous experience leading technical projects and prioritizing tasks with a focus on customer needs
  • Experience mentoring junior software engineers
  • Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Test-Driven Development, Distributed Systems, and MVC design
  • Experience in developing SaaS applications and collaborating with Product Management in a continuous deployment environment
  • A passion for creating elegant, scalable, and maintainable tools and solutions
  • Experience with key technologies such as Ruby on Rails (or similar), MySQL/PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, queueing technologies, and architecture (e.g., Apache Kafka)
  • Proficiency in managing 3rd party data contracts and/or public-facing APIs
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
