The Tapered Design/Commercial Quoting Specialist is responsible for creating tapered insulation designs generically, and as detailed by shop drawings and quotes.

This role interacts directly with our commercial contractor base, providing pricing and design information on all related roofing materials and projects.

The Tapered Design/Commercial Quoting Specialist will support the outside sales team in delivering the highest level of service and design solutions for the customer.

We're looking for self-sufficient, motivated professional for our Lynnwood location to help us expand our fast-growing business.

  • Responsibilities:* Visit plan room as needed to download information and create files.
  • Interact with Roofers, Consultants, Architects and Convoy team members for plan design, pricing, and technical questions.
  • Attain clarifications on project requirements.
  • Process orders with our inside sales team and other branches.
  • Continue to develop and expand product knowledge and design skills.
  • Qualifications:* Commercial roofing or building supply experience
  • 2 year degree in a related field an asset
  • Strong problem- solving and data analysis skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint specifications (architectural)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to climb ladders or staging to access roof tops
  • Valid drivers' license and vehicle
