has an immediate opportunity available for a National Accounts Manager within the Professional Media Solutions focused on key Sports customers.

The National Accounts Manager position is directly responsible for overall strategic business development and sales of media hardware and software products and services within a national account base, including Major Sports leagues, Major Sports Networks and large OB truck providers.

Having previous business relationship with these entities is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic sales plans for the overall Sports vertical and at the customer level.

This individual will be working in close partnership with Sony territory account managers to close on opportunities, to develop/ cultivate customer relationships while coordinating sales activities and ensuring achievement of an annual sales quota.

The successful candidate will develop and implement marketing/events plans within budget parameters, providing technical product information and/or product training, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting customers.

The successful candidate will contribute regular analysis of their Sports accounts and activity, conduct quarterly business reviews, product and project forecasting, executes upon strategic sales plan with the selected accounts, and communicate industry trends and competitive information to management.

This individual will also provide customer feedback to business management on future customer needs and current product improvements so that Sony can adjust in real time to market needs in the Sports vertical.

Regular travel is required to meet with customer at live game events, at their facilities, trade shows, seminars, symposiums, conferences, etc.

Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in business management, communications or marketing is required, or equivalent.
Must have 7-10 years of related sales experience, including direct experience in the Sports vertical.
Demonstrated experience and success partnering with key decision makers and senior-level customer representatives.
Proficiency in broadcast/production industry and related products.
Production experience a plusProven success in developing and executing sales strategies at the executive level.
Outstanding persuasion, negotiation, written communication and verbal communication skills is required.
Excellent business planning, forecasting and presentation skills.
Must be able to travel 60% of the time.
Must have high level skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
