The position is a Physical position. Lifting is involved of 40 pounds constantly.

If you have ever been to an Ikea, customers shop Ikea and visit our showrooms first where we display room by room of bedrooms sets, living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms.

Then everybody ends up in the warehouse. it is in a warehouse setting where all the big brown boxes of
furniture is housed. That is where you will be stationed if you get hired. You are greeting them and assisting them find the locations of their items. It is a customer warehouse. You will help lift and carry and put the boxes on carts, and get them set to pay. They might want a delivery, you will assist them with that on the computer. Very busy area

Other duties include maintaining the warehouse locations. Items are in a specific aisle and bin number location. You will clean and organize those areas to keep inventory tight.

Most furniture sets have box 1 of 3 big boxes so your main focus is to make sure customers take all their boxes in that item category.

They might take 2 of 3 and the inventory is compromised. So having a key eye for detail is critical.

HOURS - From 20-34 hours per week

SHIFT - Seeking work schedule availability open on all days including Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as a minimum requirement.

The operations generally range between the window of 8am to 11pm, and the work schedules are published three weeks in advance.

PAY - The starting rate/salary for this position ranges from $16.90 to $24 and will be based on IKEA's relevant work experience and other factors.

Optimizing the shopping experience through knowledgeable and attentive customer service to continually increase sales.

Creating relationships with customers to provide support in-store and remotely.
Acting as an expert and consultant on a broad range of products and services to inspire and inform customers.
Listening to, identifying, anticipating, and responding to customer needs.
Maximizing sales, while maintaining profitability, by actively steering customers towards top-selling and prioritized products.
Analyzing and adjusting sales space capacities based on sales location to secure high stock availability.
Supporting the implementation and upkeep of planned and promotional activities in, or involving, your product range.
