Essential Job Functions

  • Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and promptly addressing any arising issues. Flexibility is crucial for handling unforeseen challenges effectively.
  • Demonstrate a proficient understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize operational efficiency and drive business success.
  • Uphold brand identity through positive customer interactions and local engagement initiatives. Ensure customers consistently receive exceptional service and support.
  • Proactively mitigate security and safety risks by adhering to established procedures, providing comprehensive employee training, and identifying potential hazards.
  • Cultivate memorable in-store experiences for customers, prioritizing their satisfaction and feedback.
  • Solicit and communicate customer suggestions for process enhancements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage staff scheduling to optimize coverage during peak periods and oversee the hiring process to build a skilled and motivated team.
  • Address escalated concerns from customers and employees promptly and effectively, maintaining a positive work environment and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise daily maintenance operations, ensuring timely execution of scheduled tasks and accuracy in maintenance logs.
  • Oversee inventory processes for maintenance, merchandise, and vending products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.
  • Provide regular updates to regional leadership on facility issues, facilitating proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching to equip employees with the necessary skills to perform maintenance tasks effectively, thereby minimizing disruptions to operations and enhancing the customer experience.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within the retail industry, preferably in a gaming or entertainment-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing staff, implementing training programs, and driving operational excellence.
  • Experience in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Knowledge of gaming products, trends, and customer preferences is highly desirable.
  • Proficient with point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Must be capable of lifting weights up to 50lbs. consistently and standing for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle various tasks simultaneously in a demanding environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Multitasking in both leading teams and operational performance
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.

Cognitive and Physical Demands

  • Capacity to lift and carry merchandise, supplies, and equipment weighing up to a certain limit, as required for stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and completing store tasks.
  • Skill in handling inventory, operating cash registers, and using handheld devices or computers for inventory management and sales transactions.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, and reach to access merchandise, perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, and ensure the overall presentation and organization of the store.
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Capacity to make timely and informed decisions, considering various factors such as customer needs, operational priorities, and company policies.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and delegate effectively to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, customers, and stakeholders, conveying information clearly and professionally.

Working Conditions

  • While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to drive, sit, stand, walk, reach with your hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate with others for long periods of time.
