About the Position:

The role of Microsoft On-Premises Services Engineer is critical in ensuring robust on-premises infrastructure services are designed, implemented, and managed efficiently. As part of this dynamic position, you will handle key components including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Certificate Services, and Advanced Group Policy Management, requiring a deep understanding of Microsoft's on-premises server products and networking essentials.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute Active Directory structures, domains, sites, OUs, group policies, and trusts
  • Oversee AD schema, objects, permissions, replication, and FSMO roles
  • Create and link group policy objects to specific OUs, troubleshooting policy application challenges
  • Set up and supervise DHCP scopes, options, exclusions, and failover mechanisms
  • Deploy and maintain DNS forwarders, root hints, zone transfers, and dynamic updates
  • Configure Certificate Authorities and manage certificate issuance for users, computers, and services
  • Utilize Advanced Group Policy Management for effective change control, monitoring, and backup procedures
  • Identify and resolve replication issues, LDAP connectivity concerns, and other AD interruptions
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS, PKI designs, and troubleshooting guidelines
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft on-premises infrastructure management
  • Advanced proficiency in AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS, PKI principles, and administration
  • Practical skills in PowerShell scripting and AD administrative utilities
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and documentation capabilities
  • Ability to oversee complete enterprise infrastructures from end to end
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication proficiencies
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
Certifications (preferred):
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) for Windows Server
