Responsibilities:
Revisit previously submitted proposal and budgets with clients Produce written proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for clients and project managers Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate overall cost for construction projects Analyze blueprints, proposals, specifications, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole Collaborate with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors Provide accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs Qualify bids invited through various platforms with suitable contractors Maintain a minimum annual gross margin set forth in the department Qualifications: 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is necessary Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial Comprehension of research methodology, accounting, data and risk analysis, and estimation metrics is crucial Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software Compensation: $22 - $28 hourly
