Job Purpose:

Perform manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance and operations of the Bobst Die Cutter. Responsible for the safety of crew, quantitative and qualitative die cutter performance.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for set up and operation of Bobst die cut equipment to accurately product to customer specifications.
  • Maintains general knowledge and understanding of die cutting processes and equipment.
  • Follows all standard operating procedures and instructions relevant to the job and position
  • Performs routine adjustments during the press run and maintains production throughout the run
  • Ensure information is communicated between shifts
  • Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule
  • Keeps work area neat and clean
  • Performs other job duties as assigned
  • Ensure company safety quality and production standards are met
  • Ability to stand eight plus hours per day
  • Ability to work overtime

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge of mechanics and capabilities of die cutting press
  • Strong mechanical aptitude/skills
  • Requires experience running, troubleshooting and quality control
  • Ability to work under mínimal supervision
  • Understand technical written (and verbal) instructions, setup the die cutter and carry out instructions
  • Strong math and computer skills required

Education
