Position Overview
As a Personal Banking Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, transactions, account openings, and product information. Your role involves not only providing exceptional customer service but also cross-selling banking products, all while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and fostering lasting client relationships through problem-solving and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with a diverse range of inquiries and requests
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions accurately
- Open new accounts and offer product/service guidance
- Handle wire orders, stop payments, and disputes efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and achieve sales targets
- Stay updated on new account systems and related procedures
- Participate in additional tasks as assigned
- Adhere to workplace safety policies
- Work hours may vary between 35-40 per week
- Entry-level position with a focus on customer service
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Prior experience in cash handling and customer service
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic mathematical and problem-solving abilities
- Aptitude for sales environments
- Detail-oriented with multitasking capabilities
- Frequent desk work with computer operation
- Occasional movement within office premises
- Interaction with customers and colleagues in person and over the phone
$20.00 Per Hour
