Overview

We are seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join our Risk Management department with Pyramid Global Hospitality With over 240 properties in our portfolio, we are growing rapidly and look forward to bringing a dynamic, solutions-driven individual to our team.

LOCATION: Please take note that this position is based in the Phoenix/Scottsdale office; however, there is a possibility for a hybrid schedule.

General Purpose:

Provides support to Risk Management department with respect to communication with field associates, operation of safety programs, analysis of claims data, and general risk management activities.

Essential Duties:

  • Monitor receipt of quarterly safety program documentation from the field
  • Supports the insurance renewal process by gathering updated information
  • Assist with underwriting new locations
  • Assist with claims management
  • Assist with claim reviews and appropriate follow up
  • Support loss control efforts
  • Communicates with insurance carrier claims personnel regarding claims investigation and resolution
  • Analysis of claims data
  • Address basic inquiries from hotels on insurance/risk management issues
  • Track and administration of insurance certificates
  • Assist with getting appropriate insurance certificates issued to hotels
  • Assist with underwriting new locations
  • Completes special projects as assigned

Responsibilities

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

  • High school diploma. Associates degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of claims management and/or risk management experience
  • Excellent customer service skills critical
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to read and speak English in order to perform job duties (must be able to communicate with English-speaking coworkers and customers, must be able to read and comprehend reports and manuals written in English)
  • Effective written and oral communications skills.
  • No certificates or licenses are required for this role.
