Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of embedded software projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets using MS Project and VISIO, and monitor progress against milestones and deliverables.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and product managers, to define project requirements and specifications.

Design, develop, and optimize embedded software solutions using programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language for various aerospace applications.

Identify and mitigate project risks, anticipate challenges, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party components and technologies into embedded software solutions if required.
Conduct feasibility studies, process evaluations, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making and project prioritization.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and FDA regulations, throughout the development process.
Update status reports, present project status to customers, and work with LTTS project management for consistent customer communication.

Travel locally onsite to customer facilities several days per week as needed, complying with all customer site requirements and adhering to export control regulations.


Basic Qualifications:
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems, such as C, C++, and assembly language.
Solid understanding of embedded software development tools, debugging techniques, and version control systems.
Experience with both real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux platforms.
Proven experience in project management/engineering, preferably in a regulated industry such as aerospace.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or FDA regulations.
