Our client is seeking a full-time Private Duty Registered Nurse to provide exceptional skilled nursing care in Brookpark, OH. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication and collaboration and maintain patient safety, working independently with strong organizational skills. Experience in home health care is required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in any of the following:
    • Acute Care
    • Home Health
    • Wound Care
    • Emergency Department (ED)
    • Critical Care
    • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
  • Valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio (OH)

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of experience in Private Duty
  • Bilingual skills
  • RN License Number

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize principles of the nursing process for data collection, planning, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Implement prevention, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care.
  • Use effective interviewing techniques; set limits and collect data based on specific role.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, third parties, patients, and families.
  • Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
  • Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, notify supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reactions to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
  • Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Use oral and written communications to convey pertinent information to the healthcare team in a timely manner.

Schedule and Shift Details

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, no weekends
  • EMR: Home Care Home Base
  • Equipment provided: Tablet, Phone
