Highlights of your role: Highlights of YourRole:
  • Identifying, initiating, leading, and supporting thecontinuous improvement of manufacturing processes and projects thatadd value through improving performance, product and processquality, safety, and cost. Working cross functionally to addressimmediate opportunities andprojects.
  • Participating in Lean Manufacturing events, includingKaizen improvement events, Value Stream Mapping Events & linebalancing in operations, 5S, ergonomics/safety and workstationdesign.
  • Developing area layouts to maximize area square footageand improve safety in all theareas.
  • Creating and improving documentation associated with theprocess such as Standard Operating Procedures and job aids. Performtraining sessions related to process changes or leanconcepts.
  • Working directly with the Maintenance team in improvingline equipment reliability and safety enhancements in their ownlines.
  • Lead problem-solving sessions using DMAICmethodology.
  • Work to resolve promptly daily production/quality issues,driving to discover the root causes with containment actions andcountermeasures for problem reduction andelimination.
  • Work closely with Research and Development (R&D) toimprove product performance.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
  • A Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringRequired (Mechanical/IndustrialPreferred)
  • 2-4  years’ experience in a manufacturingenvironment 
  • A passion for Lean Manufacturing including Kaizenimprovement events, VSM/line balancing in operations,5S, ergonomics/safety & workstation design, Six Sigma aplus
  • ProficientAutoCAD and solid modeling (Inventor aplus)
  • Bilingual inSpanish and English isrequired
