- Job Summary
- Coordinates Trauma Registry reporting to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services as mandated by the Missouri Department of Health and Arkansas Department of Health regulations for trauma center designation. Has a thorough knowledge of all Trauma Registry requirements from the Arkansas and Missouri Department of Health and is knowledgeable of the American College of Surgeons recommendations regarding Trauma Registry requirements. Performs data acquisition and entry into the Trauma Registry. Identifies and completes diagnosis on all trauma records referencing ICD-10 injury codes. Assists with completion of complications, performance improvement indicators, and surgical procedures on Trauma Registry patients. Runs all standard and user reports. Downloads all trauma data to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Arkansas Department of Health and answers all questions concerning this data.
