The Opportunity:

As a cyber professional, you know that understanding adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures is vital to producing the intel that enables the success of clients. You’re telling the story to inform our client's most far-reaching cyber security decisions.

As a vulnerability management specialist on our team, you’ll help customers solve problems using the latest software like ACAS and Nexxus Scanner. Using penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and threat monitoring, you’ll work alongside multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You’ll monitor security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary.

In this role, you’ll impact the Air Force by building an IT Risk and Vulnerability Management Program for the cloud and on-prim information systems and develop a Vulnerability Management Plan to document and track risks, vulnerabilities, mitigation, remediation, and impact actions. You will work side-by-side with the SysAdmins, DB Mgr, and ISSM and ISSO’s to adjudicate risks and vulnerabilities.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience conducting Vulnerability and Risk Management using DoD, AF, and NIST guidance
  • 3+ years of experience working with ACAS/Nessus Scanner
  • 3+ years of experience working in a Cloud environment, such as AWS and MS Azure
  • Knowledge of RedHat Linux OS, Windows Server OS, Oracle DB, Apache Web Services, Fortify, endpoint applications, and networking protocols
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8140 baseline technical certifications, such as Security +, CASP, CCSP, or CISSP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
