Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified School Nurse (CSN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Penn Hills, PA area for the 2024/2025 school year. This is a full-time position with immediate interviews available.
Responsibilities:
- Ride a bus/van with a medically complex student and park at the bus garage in Turtle Creek. The typical start time is around 7:40 AM.
- Provide care and support for the student throughout the school day, ensuring adherence to doctor's orders.
- Assist the student, who uses a wheelchair, in all aspects of her daily activities.
- Monitor and address the student's medical needs, providing interventions as required.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed health records for the student.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Nurse (CSN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience working with medically complex students preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatric care and medical protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to the student.
Work Schedule:
- Daily start time: Approximately 7:40 AM.
- Daily end time: 3:30 PM.
