Business Analyst

As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll support U.S. Navy functional data management, data governance, and business intelligence and analytics. Partnering with your team of Business Analytics Consultants, Data Analysts, Database Administrators, System Administrators, and leading Data Scientists and Data Architects, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to our client

You Have:

  • Experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Test Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Security, Programing, including SQL, JAVA, Python, or R, Data Analysis Software, such as Excel, SAS, or SPSS

  • Experience in complex problem solving, software, systems, business processes, cyber security, network, hardware installation, network management, enterprise communications, information assurance, system administrator, data standardization

  • Knowledge of Database Query Language, including SQL, Report Creation and Data Visualization, such as Tableau and R Studio

  • Knowledge of Statistical Methods and Techniques to Analyze Data, DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), Managing Enterprise Level Cross Functional Teams

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, or a Physical Science

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in working and collaborating with technical staff and engineers

  • Knowledge of U.S.Navy Personnel Systems and MyNavy HR Transformation Initiatives

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail, and display a proactive attitude

  • Possession of excellent client facing or consulting skills

  • Possession of excellent documentation and organizational skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
