School Psychologist

Location: Near Independence, MO

Hourly Rate: Up to $55/hour (based on experience)

Required Degrees and Certifications:

  • Valid Missouri school psychologist certification.
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team near Independence, MO. This is an opportunity to provide critical psychological services that promote students academic, social, and emotional success in a collaborative school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students needs.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to address behavioral, academic, and emotional challenges.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Offer crisis intervention and consultation for students, staff, and families as needed.
  • Provide training and workshops for staff on topics such as mental health awareness, behavioral strategies, and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Valid Missouri school psychologist certification.
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students.

Pay & Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: Up to $55/hour (based on experience).
