Position Type: Full Time Speech Language Pathologist

Caseload: K-12th grade school caseload

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a part-time basis to serve our kids from grades K-12th. This position will run through the remainder of the current school year, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for elementary school students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to provide a comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and therapy sessions.
  • Provide therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:

  • Full time hours
  • Specific schedule to be determined in consultation with the school administration.
  • Hours can be flexible if needed.
