Location: Piedmont Atlanta Hospital,Radiology MRI Department

Schedule:Friday/Saturday/Sunday - 7am -7:30pm

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs and leads modality daily operationsand provides leadership relative to the assigned area. Promotes andadvocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latestchanges in technology and equipment. The Lead MRI Technologistensures accreditations standards are maintained as well as performsa variety of tasks involving the operation of MRI equipment andother equipment/devices asappropriate.
Qualifications:
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:
  • Graduateof an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
  • Must meetrequirements of highest leveled MRI Technologist at the assignedentity.

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:
  • Registered by theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) withcertification as Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) and MRItechnologist (MR) or certified by the American Registry of MagneticResonance Imaging Technologists(ARMRIT).

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
  • BLSCertified
  • Evidence of leadership, criticalproblem-solving skills, prioritization and decision-makingskills
  • Experience in leadership ofpersonnel
  • Knowledge of Regulatory and ACRaccreditation requirements
