- Understand and manage the project scope of work, budget and schedule as it applies to the mechanical facilities disciplineProvide sketches, calculation and design for high pressure mechanical equipment used in the production and transportation of oil and gas, such as compression, pumps, valves, tanks, vessels, separators, piping, etc.Prepare the appropriate technical equipment specifications for review and approval
Evaluate vendor’s documentation, drawings and technical bids and provide the necessary recommendations to support the projectProvide technical oversight of the requisitioning and procurement of applicable equipment packagesHave a solid understanding and working knowledge of standard drawings such as, P&IDs, Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment and PipingParticipate in design reviews, risk assessments, PSM (HAZOPs)
