Corporate Contract Analyst

Our client, a global organization, is seeking a Corporate Contract Analyst to manage and analyze commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have a background in business analysis or a legal education, with strong attention to detail and comfortability interfacing with customers. This role is critical in ensuring that contracts are aligned with the company’s goals and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and manage commercial contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and procurement, to ensure contracts meet business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on contract terms, conditions, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contract terms and conditions with vendors, clients, and partners.
  • Maintain a comprehensive contract management system, ensuring all contracts are up-to-date and accurately documented.
  • Conduct regular audits of contracts to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present reports on contract status, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on contract management best practices.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives related to contract management and process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates of a JD or MBA program preferred.
  • Individuals with a background in business analysis or contract management are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of contract law, terms, and conditions.
  • Familiarity with contract management systems and processes.

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
