Location: Myrtle Grove, FL

Description:

Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a rewarding opportunity in the beautiful community of Myrtle Grove, FL? Soliant is partnering with a school network in Florida, seeking a contract SLP to work with K-12 students across two campuses. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a mission to bring innovative education models to the wider community

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Florida Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Florida Department of Health
  • Florida Educator's Certificate in Speech-Language Impaired (PK-12)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Present evaluation results and propose Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals at IEP meetings.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload and provide progress reports to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop schedules for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
