You'll report to the Store Manager, while indirectlymanaging the team of pros at our store...and when the Store Manageris out, you're handling some of their day-to-day responsibilities.Speaking of responsibilities...

What You'll Do

Along with whatwe just described; we've put together a list of some of the otherthings you'll need to do as an Assistant Store Manager I.You'll:

  • The ASM Itypically oversee a smaller to moderate volume store with fewertransactions and lower customer traffic. They indirectly manage ateam typically consisting of 2 to 5 salesrepresentatives


  • Translateperformance goals and objectives for the team as well as individualemployees (sets weekly, monthly, and individual salesgoals)


  • Manage against store revenue to drive acquisition andretention initiatives (monitoring progress, providing feedback,adjusting goals as needed to achieve store targets).


  • Provideongoing training and coaching for sales staff to ensure salesperformance objectives are met


  • Facilitateweekly sales meetings to ensure sales associates are aligned tocorporate initiatives, including customer and productstrategies


  • Serve as a point of escalation for complicated salesand/or customer disputes


  • Ensures staffis properly trained by planning and executing training, identifyingopportunities for staff development, and coordinating execution ofcorporate learning initiatives


  • Supporttroubleshooting for customer technical problems and sales toolsrelated issues


  • Assesses local competitive assortment and pricing trendsand escalates competitive discrepancies to leadership


  • Serve as theSubject Matter Expert (SME) of all product knowledge and agentsales tools


  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, developing, andscheduling sales staff


  • Assist withdaily cash reconciliation and weekly store audits asassigned


  • Assist with store and sales floor inventory to ensurealignment with corporate store design strategy


  • Assist withOperational Expenses and Cost Optimization (Headcount, InventoryBudget, Workforce Management, and other store expenses)

Who You Are

Minimum

  • HighSchool Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. Theright candidate could also have a different combination, such asany level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a relateddiscipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years' experiencein a related field


Preferred

  • 1 year ofmanagement or leadership experience (preferably in Wireless,Telecommunications and/or Retail Sales)


  • Previousexperience with store operational duties


  • Experienceselling Wireless/Mobile products highly preferred


  • Ability tomotivate and coach staff to meet established sales, retention, andcustomer experience targets


  • Interpersonal,verbal, and written communication skills; ability to buildrelationships and adapt to a diverse customer base


  • Strongbusiness acumen with an understanding of how to run a successfulstore


  • Ability to be mobile in store for long periods of timeto assist with greeting customers and demonstrate products andservices


  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced,constantly changing environment; able to prioritize and adjustapproach based on current environment


  • Computerliteracy with an aptitude for learning communication products,services, and accessories


  • Ability tolift 25-50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory


  • Fluency inSpanish, both written and spoken

USD 20.24 - 30.34 perhour

Compensation:

Hourlypay rate is $20.24 - $30.34/hour. The hourly rate may vary withinthe anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimatelocation of the position and the selected candidate's experience.In addition to the hourly range identified herein, this role isalso eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of$11,352.00.

Benefits:

Employeesare eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time offevery month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in theform of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave,volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19vaccination leave.
